Marty's two original Columbia Records Hawaiian LPs, Hawaii's Calling Me and Song Of The Islands, are among his best recordings. His velvety voice was perfect for gently flowing groove to the music of Hawaii. Moreover, Marty was recruited by Jerry Byrd and Jim Farmer, two of the best steel guitarists in Nashville, to get across the Hawaiian sound they were looking for. In addition to the two original LPs, this CD includes Marty's first single from 1953, My Hawaiian Island Of Golden Dreams / Aloha Oe. 28 tracks in all.
