The TeleVue 19mm Panoptic is extremely popular in both mono and binoviewer applications. This eyepiece produces roughly the same true angular field of view as the 25mm or 26mm Plossl supplied with most telescopes, but the image scale is larger. This eyepiece yeilds medium power in any eight-inch Schmidt-Cassegrain telescope, but is also useful in just about any telescope oncan think of.
