This is Jim Reeves' only full-length movie (first called 'Strike It Rich'), set in South Africa, where he was incredibly popular. The movie is about two singing American con artists (Reeves and Clive Parnell) find their way to Kimberley during the diamond rush of the late 19th century and start to rob some of the locals of their hard-won cash. In between falling in love with the sexy torch singer and the local schoolmarm, they manage to reunite a son with his estranged father and lose everything in a rigged boxing match. This DVD contains 2 movie trailers, the movie in the 35mm widescreen version, and the movie in the regular version, plus an Audio Songbook which features 16 songs in Afrikaans, and the complete Kimberley Jim soundtrack.
