(1932, Commonwealth) Tom Mix, Ruth Hall, William Farnum, George Hackathorne. One of our best new western releases. Tom plays a soldier-turned-cowboy who gets on the wrong side of things when he falls for his boss's daughter. The race to the border sequence is terrific. Mix is great, but Farnums over-the-top histrionics really steal the show. Wow. This B western gem features a fine blend of action, comedy, and breath-taking Lone Pine locations. Highly Recommended. 16mm.
