It's then extracted with water, filtered and distilled. Our Body Wash is also made with Shea Butter extracts. We love that it's known for soothing qualities and as an excellent emollient (that's moisturizer to you and I). Shea butter comes from nut grown on the shea tree which is indigenous to Africa. The butter is extracted and refined so only the best stuff makes it inside our bottles.
