Acer palmatum 'Tana' (Tana Japanese Maple) * Full sun to Part shade * Zones 5-8 * 8' tall * 4'-5' wide An improved Tsuma gaki Japanese Maple! Bright maroon-red leaf tips hold through the season! 16-24 inch tall Tana Japanese Maple. The new growth 'Tana' is beautiful in Spring. It flushes out yellow-green with garnet colored leaf tips. Tana holds it's red edge through the season where as the Tsuma gaki fades to a light green. The fall color is a bright orange with red tips. 'Tana' is a slow grower but not considered a Dwarf. Perfect for the small garden. Requires partial shade with well drained soil.
