Gilders Paste Baroque Art Gilders Paste is made of highly concentrated metallic and organic pigments blended with a wax base. Let the glowing metallic or vivid jewel-like tones of these innovative, decorative, non-tarnishing pastes transform picture frames, furniture, metalwork, artwork, molding, ceramics, textiles or almost any clean dry surface. Can be used indoors or outdoors. This package contains one 1.5oz tin of paste. Available in a Celtic bronze color, sold separately. Conforms to ASTM D 4236. Made in USA.
- GILDERS PASTE: This wax-based medium can be used to add non-fading color or a gilded finish to materials such as Metal Castings, Filigree, Brass Stampings, Ceramics, Wood, Etched Glass, Polymer Clay, Resin & more!
- EASY TO USE: It can be applied as-is to clean, dry, oil-free surfaces with a cloth, cotton swab, sponge, your finger... or thin it with paint thinner to create a paste, paint, stain or wash.
- TIPS: Smooth surfaces should be slightly roughened with fine grit sandpaper or steel wool before application.
- QUICK DRY: Gilders Paste dries to the touch in 10-15 minutes and completely dries in 12 hours with no tacky residue. One tin of Gilders Paste covers over 30 square feet of surface area.
