On Sunday, December 7, 1941, West Virginia lay moored outboard of Tennessee on "Battleship Row" at berth F-6 with 40 ft. of water beneath her keel. Shortly before 8am, Japanese planes, flying from a six-carrier task force, commenced a well-planned attack on Pearl Harbor. USS West Virgina was seriously damaged in the attack, but would be repaired in time to rejoin the fleet for the Oct 44 assault on Leyte. 1/700 Scale. Length: 10.71". Beam: 1.92". Parts: 400+. This kit can be built full hull or waterline and features a finely molded wooden deck pattern. Included are photo-etch parts, display stand, name plate, waterslide decals and illustrated instructions.
