1976's Christmas Jollies was one of the most played albums in clubs, at radio, in record stores & on TV during the classic disco era and still maintains it's status as one of the most revered albums in the holiday music genre. It features over 20 holiday classics performed by The Salsoul Orchestra featuring some of Philly's finest players like Vince Montana Jr., Norman Harris, Earl Young, Cotton Kent, Ronnie James & Larry Washington, with vocals from the likes of the greats Barbara Ingram, Evette Benton, Carla Benson, and orchestration from the Don Renaldo Strings. Out of print for many years on compact disc this 2014 Deluxe Edition was remastered impeccably by John Sigmon & Joe "Philly Soul" Reagoso from the original Salsoul Records master tapes. Includes three rare bonus tracks; the non-LP 'New Year's Americana Suite' & the 7 inch single mixes of 'We Wish You a Merry Christmas' & 'Merry Christmas All'.
