Amado and Lilly, two retired strangers with a great deal in common, both move to Maui to mourn recent losses, reflect on their lives, and enjoy their remaining years. They are healthy, independent, and self-sufficient, and deep down inside both of them long for a true friend. The problem is they are so shy they might never meet.
