Jake Adams is a young CIA officer working undercover in Berlin. When he is called in to track down an East German Stasi assassin, who Jake believes is going to Iceland during the Reagan/Gorbachev Summit in October 1986 to kill one of these world leaders, he must unravel a conspiracy among the East Germans, the Soviet KGB, and perhaps others. Only his superior skill can keep him alive in this landscape of fire and ice.
