The LEDdrop U-Shaped Aluminum Channel System (U-12) provides a professional finish and a modern aesthetic to accommodate a wide range of LED strip lighting projects. While the aluminum channel houses and protects your LED strips from dust and physical contact, the milky/oyster white channel cover diffuses the harsh brightness of the LED lights themselves. The cover softens the 'spottiness' of LED strip lights, rendering a light that is not only more consistent but pleasing (referred to as a "light bar" or "neon effect). Because the adhesive backing on LED strip lights only permits one installation before losing its stickiness, housing them in LEDdrop aluminum channels instantly makes them portable. Simply stick the LED strip light's adhesive backing inside the channel, snap on the diffuser cover, and mount the channel whenever desired. LEDdrop U-Shaped Aluminum Channels can be applied to surfaces (mounted or, if not required, unmounted), and can be embedded as well. Additionally, you'll get screws and two types of mounting clips (both steel and clear plastic), giving you more control and flexibility over your available mounting options and overall interior design.
