The tables are turned on victim advocate, Elizabeth Strong, when she falls prey to a crime herself and Silverton’s newest detective, Angel Martinez, is personally assigned to her case.

Soon after, they discover her recent client is the target of a murder for hire and she tries to assist him in finding the would-be-killer. Meanwhile, the tangled web of Elizabeth’s past begins to unravel and it’s realized Martinez must work harder to protect one of his own.
