Shortly after an accident crippled the Mars Explorer, lone surviving astronaut, Brett Morgan, made a world-changing discovery. An abandoned starship from the future called the Endeavour, which is full of high-tech military aircraft, vehicles and weaponry.
Realizing that any government involvement could lead to war, Brett decides to make use of it all himself. He first adopts a new identity as Jason Reeves, then with the help of friends and trusted recruits, he sets up a military-style crime-fighting organization called Protectors. Their aim is to use the high-tech equipment to defend ordinary people from the criminal fraternity, ranging from street thugs to wealthy drug barons.
Then, after an ordinary street in Chicago becomes a battleground, Protectors soon learn there are far more powerful forces at play than just drug dealers and criminal gangs…
