Elf Maiden and Wolf Sculpture by Anne Stokes. Resting momentarily on the mossy earth, the Elf Maiden and Wolf Statue makes a lovely addition to any fantasy collection. As immortal beings aligned with the natural world, elves are able to calm fierce predators like this wolf. Her light brown hair is worn loose and seems to move with the slightest breeze. She wears a gossamer shift embellished with strings of pearls and an interlace focal piece. A circlet with a jeweled drop complements her lovely eyes and a mystical pendant rests at her collarbone. Pearls also encircle her wrist. Her wolf companion has thick white fur with pale eyes and a black nose. It lies serenely beside her, facing forward. This sculpture is cast in Polystone which is composed of polyurethane, resin, and mixed with powdered stone additives that give it added weight and a porcelain or "stone-like" feel. Polystone is very durable and delivers a cleaner, more substantial representation of an original sculpture than other common materials.
