I hope dear reader you're not sitting on the bench being judgemental. If so, for a moment I'd like you to join me on the dock. Perhaps you'll understand when I say the song of sun burnt days was so seductive it filled my brain and a compulsion stronger than me took control. But even as I took that route my subconscious told me the song would fade and too soon the days would shorten and in the cool evening air I'd evolve into a loyal wife.
