Eddie knew for certain that he had a gift. His voice had the power to convince anybody of anything; whatever he said was believed by those around him as fact. It was a strong power with a lot of potential but Eddie didn't want to abuse it. He didn't want to be a corrupted person, using their powers for wicked reasons. He was determined to carry on with his ordinary life.

However, after discovering how boring his ordinary life really was and getting an earful from his beautiful boss that determination began to fade away quickly. Instead Eddie discovered that if you have a gift you may as well use it.
