Tips:
Please open the battery cover with a coin and then put the battery out to set the default to "Fahrenheit" or "Celsius".
How to calibrate:
- Prepare a cup of freezing water
- Test the temperature and wait it close to 32°F"
- When the reading is stable,take a long press of the "hold" button until it shows"CALL"
- This thermometer will calibrate automatically and dispaly "32°F"
- The thermometer is calibrated well.
Notice:
- Do not leave thermometer in oven while cooking, do not touch hot probe with bare hands.
- Before withdrawing from food, press HOLD button. It will "hold" the temperature reading.
- Wash the metal probe in soapy water. Clean thermometer by hand. Do not completely immerse in water.
- The folding probe is with a sharp tapered end, fold away when not in use making the wireless unit a small and convenient size for your pocket or drawer.
