Please note that Magnesium Taurate is a molecular complex containing both magnesium and taurine. The typical ratio for this compound is roughly 10-1 (taurine to magnesium) so there is approximately 18mg of elemental magnesium per capsule. That may seem like a low amount of magnesium, but this product is not necessarily intended to address a magnesium deficiency (although taurine helps move magnesium into the cells). It is for other purposes such as nervous system and cardiovascular issues like heart palpitations/arrhythmias, circulation, anxiety, and sleep.
