It's a hard time to take off the problem sensor module with as many as 14 prongs. We figured out ways to make it possible based on situations below:

â— A heat gun to replace the whole assembly
This is the most suggested for an experienced soldering expert
â— Partially replace the 3Pin potentiometer sensor alone with an iron
According to some estimates, 80% chances of problem are caused by the motion sensor. In another words, the joystick rocker and the tactile switch are good. In this case, you can try to swap the 3Pin sensor alone. (We're listing the 3Pin sensors alone.)
â— Replace the white disc alone even without soldering
In some cases, you can just replace the little wheel in the 3Pin potentiometer sensor to solve some specific problems like: Dead spot, blind spot, dead zone, creeping, not as responsive as it should be
â— Experts with a normal iron to replace the whole unit
For a soldering expert with NO professional desoldering wick braid, solder sucker pump or hot air rework station at hand. We suggest to crush the problem thumstick into small enough pieces with a pair of pliers. It will be much more easier than de-soldering the entire 14Pin unit
â— by professional technicians in a cellphone repair shop

[EL6 ALPS 2.1K for PS5 and PS4] – 4x replacement analog joystick work with PlayStation 5 DualSense and some PS4 DualShock 4 wireless controllers. The thumbstick module was made by ALPS. This RKJXV stick controller series comes with 2.1KΩ trimmer potentiometers
[Compatibility] – We’re listing two ALPS models for PS4 and PS5. The difference is the resistance value of the potentiometers. You can distinguish them from the color of the side plastic. EL1 is 10KΩ in gray, while EL6 is 2.1KΩ in black or green. PS5 controller uses two kinds of joysticks from two different manufacturers. EL6 was made by ALPS, while EL7 was from Favor Union (FU). They’re interchangeable with each other
[4x Additional Drift Fix PCB] – Several factors cause joystick drifting a common issue. Even new joysticks can drift. The potentiometer was born without precision. Wear to the carbon film, spring fatigue and material stretching made it not centered. Dust, moisture and drop make it worse. We packed 4x PCB to fix the problem of drifting in one direction. Simply adjust the variable resistor to eliminate the drifting
[When to replace] – The analog joystick needs to be replaced when your controller has the problem of drifting, creeping, stuttering, a blind spot, a dead spot, a dead zone, no reaction when clicking, or it wouldn't center after years of wear and tear. The OEM genuine repair parts ensure accuracy and prolong lifespan
[Reminder of DIY] – With as many as 14 prongs, de-soldering and soldering the whole module takes serious skills. We suggest replacing the potentiometers first to solve most of the joystick problems. If you plan to take off the entire joystick module off PCB, we suggest two methods: 1.Take a look at the desoldering kit at product ID: B0BK7169M8. 2.or you can cut the 14 prongs one by one with a wire cutter
