This text covers information regarding the Revised Uniform Partnership Act (RUPA) that has been adopted by about half of the states, and other developments, such as the Limited Liability Partnership (LLP), have significantly changed partnership law. Basic agency concepts have been persuasive in shaping the development of statutory liabilities, especially in the area of sexual harassment, and the influence of agency law will only increase in the coming years, as work proceeds on a Third Restatement of Agency.
