A Deliberate Life is the inspiring and oftentimes humorous story of Pamela Haskin and her life in the Alaskan Bush. She says, "I'm not trying to escape society as so many do who come to the Bush. I'm choosing a lifestyle! I want a life with adventure and purpose." Life on the homestead was certainly different from the one Pam had known; a woodpile instead of a thermostat, no running water or indoor plumbing, no electricity, and no phone. And, she chose this! Go figure.Pam touches something in each of us that says life can be more than ordinary. We do indeed have a choice, and we either exercise or surrender that choice each day.
