Rutger Hauer stars as small-town detective Reardon, a once-disgraced policeman who is assigned to work on a high-profile kidnapping case reporting to a decorated FBI agent, Wallis (Paulina Porizkova), who as luck would have it, happens to be his ex-wife. The clues of the case lead nowhere and tensions mount, until a surprise break fingers a suspect - Reardon! As the victim's body is discovered, the hunter becomes the hunted and Reardon and Wallis must pull out all the stops to prove his innocence and find the real killer.
