Another awesome read by Paul Billheimer. This is a book that really gets down to the nitty-gritty of the Christian life and vividly shows how that denying ones self and taking up their cross is the ultimate way to victory. The author profoundly shows how the CROSS is the THRONE of the UNIVERSE, and that in living a "crucified" life, (that is, crucified to all the desires of self) we will have victory over the enemy and achieve God's best. In addition, the author shows us how, in our everyday life, Satan tempts us to "get down off the cross" and thus give in to self. Truly this book will show Christians how to take their "game" to the next level in leading a consecrated life. Outside of the Bible, I would say that this book along with "Destined for the Throne" are the two best books I've read that clearly and biblically show the way to leading a victorious Christian l
