Dr. David McKenna approaches the text of Isaiah in full view of its theological, linguistic, and historical challenges. Though he has mastered the analytic discussions of the book, this commentary does far more than examine the prophecies of Isaiah in microscopic, analytic detail. Rather, it attempts to grasp the wholistic vision of God revealed to Isaiah the prophet. We must prepare ourselves for an experience of the living, holy, righteous God. That is exactly what this commentary helps us to do.
