DVD contains six rarely seen railroad and western dramas from 1915, 1916 and 1920. Three of the six are one-reelers, episodes of Kalem Studio's "Hazards of Helen" series. The other three are two-reelers from the Capital Film Company's westerns. Nearly two hours of Fearless Helen Gibson leaping from horses, cars and other moving vehicles onto speeding trains to get the bad guys. These six films have never been on video before now. Inside the case is a two-sided insert containing the scenarios of each of the six films. Music on this DVD was composed and performed by Frederick Hodges. The DVD Helen Gibson: Silent Serial Queen, is a companion to the book to be published by Bitterroot Mountain Publishing (www.BitterrootMountainLLC.com). The companion book, Helen Gibson: Silent Serial Queen Who Became Hollywood's First Professional Stunt Woman, will be available in late February, 2013.
