Young Masumi Hijiri dreams of becoming a prima ballerina but faces many challenges on her way to the top of the dance world. With great focus, Masumi manages to snap out of her intense insecurities, and performs beyond her expectations with her first-time dance partner, Leonhardt. She wins 2nd place overall, beating out everyone except her arch-nemesis, the prodigy Lilliana. After the win, Masumi and Leonhardt receive invitations to dance from both Moscow and New York, the worlds two most prestigious ballet locations! Which will Masumi choose?
