The Rio Play-a-Sound Book is adapted from the Twentieth Century Fox movie Rio, released in April 2011. A 10-button sound module, each with an image of a Rio character, is attached to the book. Children push the buttons that match images on the book s 20 pages to add sound to the story about Blu, a rare tropical macaw, who finds adventure and friendship in Rio de Janeiro, his new home. The book is recommended for children ages 18 months and older.

The Rio Play-a-Sound Book features full-color illustrations and a sturdy hard cover. Three long-life AG-13 button cell batteries that power the book are included.
