The content moves through the proper pitching progression from learning the basic mechanics to developing the movement pitches. A look at pitching from a former professional catcher's perspective provides insight into the pitcher/catcher "battery." The importance of the pitcher's mental preparation to manage the game is discussed. Practicing needs to be fun or the pitcher will soon get bored.
