An Illustrated Guide for z/Architecture Assembler Programming is a concise description of Assembler programming for IBM's z/Architecture. The book's audience is application programmers; in the interest of compactness, specialised instructions, such as control instructions of primary interest for system programmers, are omitted. To improve understanding, schematic diagrams are provided when appropriate. Similarly, to illustrate the instructions, practical coding examples are shown for most instructions.
