Because no interpretation of any verse of the Quran is perfect, we are constantly pursuing better ones. Many of the verses in this book are based on those interpreted by the great scholars A. Yusef Ali, Imam W. Deen Mohammed, Muhammad Asad, and M. M. Pickthall. Some are based on contemporary works found on sites like IslamAwakened.com. And still others are based on selected entries from around the world, submitted by devoted students of the Quran. This is a collaborative effort open to all, so send us your interpretations– you could see them reflected in our next edition.
