Although primarily a reader with authentic selections about various social and cultural matters in Afghanistan, this collection also includes lucid notes and examples on Pashto grammar. In-context glossaries within each lesson and a general glossary at the end have been added, but the selections are not translated. Each lesson contains exercises, many of which have been keyed at the end. The audio CD for this reader is also available at cost.
