Betty Jean Necessary was a 12 year old child murdered and later found in in a cave about a mile from her home. She had been brutally raped, shot several times and buried alive. Court transcripts, newspaper articles and interviews were utilized to compose this book. Also mentions the murders of two young girls in Tennessee, the same age that are still cold cases.
