When the Wind Blows (1949) [Mystery novel; some editions use the alternative title The Wind Blows Death. After giving some legal assistance to the local amateur orchestra, Francis Pettigrew finds himself named the orchestra's treasurer, which complicates his otherwise idyllic existence. A murder then occurs, making things even more complicated
