Whoever wants to dominate the world of cockfighting must have known about the importance of acquiring the finest gamefowls in the first place. That’s the basic as well as the most important requirement. That’s about trying to build one’s stuff on a solid foundation. But it doesn’t have to stop from there. To have acquired the best breeding materials is not the end in itself. In fact, it is just the beginning. Breeding is supposed to be a simple thing like putting in two gamefowls together and get offspring. Anyone, with or without breeding background, can simply do that kind of thing. But knowing how to breed well is a cut above the rest. This book, therefore, aims to educate, for the most part, the ordinary “rooster man” or sabongero, as well as the neophyte gamefowl breeder, on the proper gamefowl genetics selection, pros and cons of different gamefowl breeding methods, and my personal bias on the best breeding method involving gamefowls.
