"Christine will need guidance when I am gone, Erik," Gustave painfully whispered. "She will need more than a father figure, she will need the angel of music, and that angel is going to be you." Ever since birth, the only thing Erik has ever known is hatred. With no love to fill his empty heart, Erik flees his mother's torturous world, only to be thrown into another. Terrified of the outside world and its people, Erik is taken in by violinist, Gustave Daae and his young daughter Christine. As time goes on, Gustave attempts to gain Erik's trust, by teaching the boy and caring for him as though he were his own son. What Erik didn't know was that Gustave was preparing him for something bigger, something that would change his and Christine's life forever.
