The Sword of Moses, variously dated to the 14th century or before, to perhaps the 10th, contains perhaps the most strange array of folk magick fused with Kabbalistic and angelic content ever made. Containing conjurations that invoke the very name of the Judeochristian deity, it professes to allow the user control over the armies of the same god, for various purposes, from protecting oneself, to securing fortune, to destroying foes.
