Awaiting the King is an Advent family devotional book that aims to center our hearts and minds on Christ in preparation for Christmas. Our family wanted to create something that was biblically based, kid-friendly, and beautiful. To do so, we combined the unique skills, talents, and perspectives of our little family, which includes a professor, a homeschool mom, and an artist. Inside you will find short devotionals for each day of December leading up to Christmas. Every devotional includes Scripture, a delightful illustration, an insightful devotional thought for parents, an engaging devotional thought for children, discussion questions, a fun family activity, and a Jesse tree ornament to color and cut out.
