The conceptual pattern of the course follows the standard pattern of the introductory economics course offered by most colleges and universities. However, while the college course would present much of this material in a graphical and mathematical form, with an emphasis on solving the kinds of problems that will be on the exam, these lectures will instead focus on intuitive and verbal explanations of the underlying concepts.
