Professor Robert Greenberg, formerly San Francisco Conservator of Music, is currently music historian-in-residence with San Francisco Performance. He earned a Ph.D. in Music Composition from the University of California at Berkley. He has performed, taught, and lectured across North America and Europe. His awards include three Nicola DeLorenzo Prizes in composition, three Meet the Composer grants, and a commision from the Koussevitzky Foundatiopn of the Library of Congress. he has composed over 40 instrumental and vocal works
