A selection of 52 hikes in the New York metropolitan area - one for each week of the year. The hikes are taken from Dan Chazin's popular Hike of the Week column in The Record and are organized by season and level of difficulty. Each hike is accompanied by a map and a sidebar that focuses on some interesting aspect of the hike, such as history, geology, wildlife, etc.
