A reference at each color bar on the tape informs you of the proper equipment sizes to perform emergency resuscitation on a child. Each weight zone on the tape shows pre-calculated medication dosages. The new PALS algorithms are included on each non-laminated tape. A vinyl pouch is included. Includes pulseless arrest, bradycardia, stable tachycardia, unstable tachycardia algorithms PALS resuscitation doses, and defibrillation shock doses. Fluid resuscitation IV bolus volumes, overdose antidote doses, calcium gluconate doses, and rapid sequence intubation doses. Includes increased intracranial pressure treatment, isotonic saline doses, and anaphylaxis treatment with epinephrine. Features treatment of the underlying cause of the dysrhythmia.
