Despite all the evidence to the contrary, Gene firmly believes that Ryu is alive somewhere and will dutifully return to her. Or rather, him--as the tragedy that separated Gene from Ryu has again caused Gene to switch genders!

Though despondent, Gene tries to go back to living life as a normal teenaged boy. Things, however, are far from normal. A mysterious force seems to be consuming Gene's best freind, Saul. And when Ryu finally does come back from the dead, everything is different. He is now enagged to Sharon and fanatically loyal to her brother Shinobi?! But...why?
