We have been going through the book and enjoying it. As I stated in my previous review, I enjoy the variety of projects. This book includes Legos, cross-stitch, pixel art, bead-art, the beads you iron together, and other crafts. Each chapter discusses a new usage of pixels using a variety of educational resources from math, history, English, art just to name a few. One thing I really did appreciate about this book is bringing in traditional and historic art forms and demonstrating how they can be thought of through small parts being put together as pixels are to create modern pictures on a computer or television screen and make themrelatable to the students. I would recommend this to any family who wants/needs to reach the student who loves the idea of the pixel art, Legos or any modern manipulative toy and show how it can relate to history and art.
