Product Review
A little Grinch, a little Tiny Tim, and a lot of "It's a Wonderful Life" are the major elements in this Christmas-themed Tiny Toons send-up. As always, this Steven Spielberg-produced cartoon combines plenty of subtext for adult amusement with wide-eyed cutesy animals for the kids. When things go terribly wrong with the Acme Acres Christmas pageant, director Buster Bunny feels blue (Ã la George Bailey), so guardian angel rabbit Harvey (who resembles Jimmy Stewart, naturally) shows him what the world of Tiny Toons would be without him. It's a nightmare, of course. Wicked, self-serving Monty shows up in a wheelchair as a result of a skiing accident that, curiously, involved Morgan Fairchild. He renames the town Montyville; the Cher on ice production number is a disaster. You can guess the rest. It all makes for a wacky, fast 22 minutes. (Ages 3 and older) --Kimberly Heinrichs
