CD reissue of this 1968 album from the sexy and sassy French chanteuse. Comment Te Dire Adieu is a touching and beautiful slice of '60s Continental Pop and bears all the hallmarks of what Francoise Hardy's music is all about: imaginative orchestration, strong melodies, and sexy vocals. This time around, Hardy shows a bit more of her sentimental side and transports the listener to an overcast day in France when the skies are threatening rain and the phone never rings. The album is mostly cover versions including her French interpretations of Leonard Cohen's 'Suzanne,' Phil Ochs' 'There But for Fortune' and Ricky Nelson's 'Lonesome Town.'. EMI.
