In the battle against the Trade Federation's mechanized legions of Battle Droids, Naboo's overmatched army of amphibious Gungans had to rely on something less sophisticated for transport and attack--the nimble, ostrich-like Kaadu, a native of Naboo's lush rain forests. Authentically styled from Star Wars: Episode I, The Phantom Menace, this faithful Gungan steed features realistic running action spurred by pressing the saddlebag that straddles its torso. A specially articulated 3.75-inch action figure of klutz-turned-hero Jar Jar Binks (included) fits snugly into the Kaadu's saddle, carrying a primitive but effective energy ball atlatl as weaponry. --Jerry McCulley
