The model #1000 is the original doweling jig, since 1949. This is the model that has been so popular over the years. This jig has six permanent drill hole sizes: 3/16", 1/4", 5/16", 3/8", 7/16", and 1/2". The center block is made of solid steel, precision hardened for long life. Large steel clamping screw tightens the tool like a vise with the rugged aluminum sides holding the work securely without damage to the wood. Self-centering action - round or square stock.
