We highlight the story from 1954 to 1960, with varied recordings ranging from pub anthems such as Set Up Two Glasses Joe to an amazing cover of Chuck Berry's Thirty Days. There are great and forgotten singles such as Kansas City Blues, Will You Be Satisfied That Way, Half A Mind and A Guy Named Joe, as well as complete rare albums like The Daddy Of Them All and The Importance Of Being Ernest. ET remained true to himself throughout his career and did not change to suit the style of others. Instead, he changed other people's music to suit his style. His Texas honky-tonk music never sounded better than it does here!
