Before taking his own life at age 22, Freddie starred in Chico and the Man , became a NY comedy-club legend and made one album, this 1975 LP. It's so sad he didn't leave us more; he riffs about everything from life in the projects to monkeys in the zoo: Washington Heights; Survival; We're All the Same; Pablo's Bar a '70s comedy classic.
